If you’re a small or even medium sized business you should be able to tick these boxes for your online / digital presence.

  • Web Site that you / your business can update monthly.  Updates could be a blog, a newsletter, a new client story or reference. Even your social media feed from Twitter, Instagram or Facebook can also be used to update your site.
  • Social : At least one of the following should be used to create content and messages relevant to your business; Linked In and Twitter are business basics. Instagram and Facebook may seem like a personal channel, but its the time that users spend that can also make them valuable as a marketing channel too.
  • Mailing List / Newsletter : Yes good old email is still an effective way to reach your current and new prospects and understand who is reading them and what content they engage with. Keep that subscriber list growing with new leads and use it to segment your base and target them on other channels including a phone call and update meeting.

The good news is none of these should cost you a lot to implement or setup and maintain. They are the basics of a Marketing presence for your small to medium business.
